I only hype up the game for my personal stories, seeing as I write in my free time so I use this for the wasted storyline, wasted characters, and wasted potential. There are a lot of ways for this to become more fun, but then again it really depends on the games you like. I've also just truly loved how the game is, seeing as I'm a fan of both sandboxes and rpgs. Personally, I enjoy it for the story, nostalgia, my own characters, and being able to use it to bond with my friends. The vanilla game can get boring quite easily, and I do see why many don't play as often.
